The hotel’s scenic location and nearby hiking trails make it a great choice for nature lovers. the rooms, though outdated, offer spaciousness and calmness for a relaxing stay. the staff is friendly and the breakfast is good with plenty of coffee and food options.
The lack of reliable and speedy wifi could be frustrating for those who depend on it.

Spent New Year's Eve in a rustic hotel, surrounded by nature and cows. Perfect for walks and quietness. Not too far from Heidelberg for a cultural excursion. Nice and spacious rooms and amazing views from the spa area. Awesome cakes.
Although the hotel has a sweet shop, we were disappointed by the poor breakfast choices, and the fact that we had to choose a menu on arrival. Another downside were the old-fashioned furnishings of the rooms –and the slow WIFI and shower were not helpful either.

For me, the best aspects of this hotel are its location and staff. I love being surrounded by nature and this place delivered. It's easy to go on hikes and explore the area. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.
Couldn't stay longer.

We also enjoyed the option of going on hikes and the variety of local restaurants. the breakfast was good and it was an amazing experience to smell the pine trees during Christmas.
The lack of communication with the staff was a huge downside. Although there was a key box, there was no one to welcome us or provide us with the necessary information.
